Police have arrested 5 people they believe played a role in at least 8 robberies of ATM and armored cars in metro Atlanta. The suspects include Veronica Bullard, Quentin Booker, Stacey Dooley, Ashley Henderson, and Edward Thornton. Thornton is at large and he is believed to be armed and dangerous. If you know his whereabouts, call local police. 3 robberies happened in Gwinnett the first in November at the Bank of America in Buford. The second at a Wells Fargo in Centerville, and the third at the Mall of Georgia in December, but an armed guard shot back at the suspects. Gwinnett Police took over the investigation after the shooting death of an armored car guard in Dekalb County.

The Medical Examiner’s Office is waiting on toxicology results to return from the Georgia Bureau of Investigations Crime Lab – which could take up to 12 weeks. Mr. Franklin was put in a holding cell with 2 other men. According to the Sheriff’s Department, at 12:37 AM Mr. Franklin was asleep and snoring, at 12:52 he couldn’t be awakened and was unresponsive. Medical personnel administered CPR, and Mr. Franklin was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Dekalb County Police arrested Mr. Franklin on a probation violation Friday.
