‘Tis the season – spooking season that is…ghoulish tales specific to Lawrenceville are sure to give you goose bumps during a 90 minute stroll through the streets. Al Stilo, Director of Marketing and Sales at Aurora Theatre tells the tale of Elec a ghost haunting the old jail in Lawrenceville…

“The way the story goes is there was an accidental death of his master – and he was accused of the murder – convicted of the murder and held here in this jail in Lawrenceville. This all happened.”

Hosted by Lawrenceville Georgia Ghost Tours, every night throughout October fright seekers will also hear the tale of Howling Curtis, Ariel Anderson says:

“The story that I have heard is every town has it’s drunk – and here in Lawrenceville it was Curtis and he would get drunk, make a ruckus in the streets then the police would have to lock him up. He would have to dry up for the night and he got fed up so he started to howl…”
